We only stay in Oceanfront properties and there is simply no place like this on 30A or in the Destin-Fort Walton Area!! This was by far the nicest, most plush and luxurious condo we have ever stayed in..with still,a nice comfy and homey feel to it. It has a panoramic,wrap around view of a pristine,wide, and uncrowded beach. All of the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the furniture--even the deck furniture, is first rate and most relaxingly cozy.The pools our kids absolutley loved along with the nearby hottub. This entire unit is a spacious,very large beachfront home, because the word condo doesn't say nearly enough about the world you will enter into when you stay here..The Master suite alone is like its own luxurious apartment set apart with the best luxury bathroom you'' ever find! You won't believe the kitchen with ultra modern appliances which make cooking so much easier and such a pleasure,in which we cooked our own fresh redfish and flounder we caught from the lake which closely borders it. Everything about this unit, along with our attentive landlords, the Fogles, was first class..and we can't wait to come back.We've never been in anything on Florida's east or west coast,nor the Georgia or Carolina coasts, that provided a better dream week on the beach than this!!

What can I say? I have not stopped talking about our wonderful experience at Sanctuary By the Sea. The pictures do not do it justice and the Fogles have thought of everything. We enjoy cooking every meal while together, sharing each others new specialties, and the kitchen was amazing! (stocked with utensils, plenty of plates, serving pieces,pots!) I never thought that I needed an ice maker, and now how do I live with out it. The views is spectacular from the porch, I enjoyed breakfast and coffee there every morning. Beach straight ahead and Lake redfish to the right. The unit was clean and well maintained, with some of the nicest furnishing we have had. We have been meeting for 8 years and this was my favorite destination!

Enjoyed a fabulous vacation at your 'Sanctuary by the Sea'. Gorgeous condo, very spacious, elegantly decorated yet extremely comfortable. Perfect for our large family with several unique living spaces and a grand kitchen that made preparing meals enjoyable and memorable. The two masters were wonderful (great gulf front views from each) and the beds were very comfortable in all rooms! The 'balcony'.... what can we say...the place to hang out!....huge space with multiple furniture pieces all very comfortable....and then the amazing views of the gulf, beach, dunes and Redfish lake.....Paradise!!! Also the amenities of the complex...pools, hot tub, workout facility, theatre room, and vitual golf were all grand and easy to access. Many nice restaurants, galleries and shopping nearby on 30A. This condo is total luxury and very clean! Earlene was fablulous to work with and made the experience so enjoyable. First class owners.....would highly recommend!! Hope to return!!

The view of the ocean was breathtaking! From the moment we walked in, we were all amazed how accommodating the condo was. All of the rooms were large, clean and beautifully decorated. The 2 master suites and bathrooms were a special treat. My grandchildren loved their bedrooms being next to the audio room. The kitchen including all of the appliances was a "cooks" dream. The view of the ocean and Red Fish lake with the sunset was a memory making night for all of us. We enjoyed being in your codo and hope to return again.

This is by far the nicest condo I have ever stayed in. The view of the ocean is fantastic. This is one of the few units that has a direct ocean view and you will not be disappointed. The balcony is huge and it was nice to sit out and just enjoy the view in the mornings and at sunset. This condo is luxury all the way and can very comfortably accommodate four couples or a large family. The bedrooms are all large and each has a private bath. The complex has excellent amenities as well. The beach service was great and it was nice to have chairs and umbrellas set up and waiting for us at the beach. The kitchen is fabulous and fully equipped. We enjoyed staying here and cooking in the kitchen so much we only went out for dinner once our entire trip. This is a special place. We rented this on a short notice but Earlene was great to work with. Thanks for accommodating us and we look forward to returning !!!

This unit is simply fabulous! This is our third trip to Sanctuary by the Sea (all three have been in different units) and I have to say this was the easiest, most pleasant, and most importantly, the most relaxing of them all. Overall, the entire property is first class. Specifically, the Fogle's unit is beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is as advertised in terms of the professional equipment, all of which worked exactly as expected. There is ample room in each of the bedrooms, especially the master. The beds are comfortable (and I am picky) and the linens are nice. Further, the open living spaces are great for a family vacation. Lastly, and this is really important, the owners made the entire experience of renting this unit simple and easy. The rental agreement is straightforward and all of the instructions related to arrival and departure were detailed. They did a really good job of making us feel welcome. This is a special place with special owners. Highly recommended!!!!!

My wife and I have vacationed at many of the top beach homes in the Santa Rosa Beach area and this condo is now at the top of our list. From the amazingly comfortable high end beds to the commercial grade high end appliances you will never want to leave the condo. Well, until you see the numerous pools, fire pits, and pool side cabanas. My son said the cabana was built just for him and he did not want to leave. It was great for making poolside adult drinks and an air conditioned mini condo when it's time to take a break from the sun. The resort host the widest beach in the area and very private, quiet, and no crowds during the summer which is rare. It is truly a "sanctuary" paradise. We grilled out poolside several nights avoiding the massive crowds at the restaurants. In the mornings we rode bikes a short ride to the Watercolor and Seaside shopping districts. Which are nice to visit with great shops but even better to leave behind to the serenity of the condo. There is a brand new Walmart and Publix just 10 minutes from the resort. Did I mention the lake and ocean views from the large balcony of the condo? The condo and resort are nothing short of amazing!! The owners are great to work with and offer a great value for your vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your beach home with us and making some great family memories possible. We look forward to returning soon.

This was our first trip to Santa Rosa/South Walton beaches and this condo was absolutely fantastic.Our family of four along with my parents were very comfortable at this home away from home. Considering we went during the summer we expected things to seem busy but many days we felt like we had the pools to ourselves which was very relaxing. The beach service was great. It is a bit of a walk to get to the ocean from the condo, too long of a walk for my mother to be able to make but the beaches were beautiful. One evening while crab hunting with the kids, it felt as though we were the only ones around on the beach. Other families were very spaced out and not crowded at all. Earlene is so great to work with. She helped us to stay on our specific dates so we could attend a family beach destination wedding and was available for any questions we had. Every detail was like home. We loved the Donut Hole for breakfast which is a few miles away, they have great donuts - there is normally a line but it goes quickly. We can't say enough good things about this vacation and look forward to coming back again.

Our family of five just wrapped up a great vacation at the Fogle's condo. Everything about the place exceeded expectations. The spacious living and sleeping accomodations beat anything we've experienced before. Extremely well decorated, spectactular kitchen and baths, very clean and more. We actually looked forward to coming home to the condo at the end of a long day at the beach or pool. The two complimentary chairs and umbrella were great and the beach was very peaceful - not crowded by any means. The kids also caught a bunch of panfish at Redfish lake right off the property's pier. Earlene was very accessible and helpful in getting us set up prior to the trip. We traveled with two other families who rented similar condos in Sanctuary by the Sea. While the other's were very nice, I think the Fogle's was best.

Incredible Stay for Spring Break 2011

Thank you Earlene for a wonderful Spring Break experience at Sanctuary by the Sea. We were so blessed to have found your place for our stay. All six of us (me and my three teenage sons and a friend and her teenage son) enjoyed everything about the condo. You were so helpful and your information helped us locate great places to eat, shop, rent bikes, and even helped us find the nearest Starbucks. The kitchen in the condo was to die for- the condo had anything and everything you could ever need or want. Even the kids enjoyed cooking and grilling on the Jenn-Air appliances. The pictures don't do the condo justice. It was so much more spacious and beautiful than the pictures. The two complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were the perfect added touch. The beach and water is so clean and had very few people. I have stayed at other condo's in the Destin area and the chairs were 5 deep to the water- NOT here. OMG- we had maybe 8-10 other chairs in a 100 yard private pristine beach area. The beds were wonderful- no one single person had a difficult time sleeping due to beds that were too hard or too lumpy. We had Sunnydays deliver 6 bikes and they were there waiting for us as soon as we arrived- thanks for the recommendation. We were also blessed with amazing blue skies, warm Gulf breezes, and one sunny day after the next which was the icing on the cake. Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality. We look forward to staying again very very soon.

We had the best week's vacation here at Sanctuary by the Sea - the location on 30A is perfect! We really liked the quietness of the area, but the ability to be in the middle of shopping, sightseeing, etc in a matter of 15 minutes was great. Thank you for sharing your home ~ from the incredible Viking kitchen appliances to the comfortable furnishings ~ we couldn't have relaxed in any better surroundings. Your photos do not reflect how large and comfortable the condo is in person. Having our morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony every morning with the view of the beach and gulf was a great way to start each day. We will definitely be back and will be sure to recommend your condo to our friends. Thanks for the recommendations to Dewey's and Louisiana Laniappe in Destin for dining ~ absolutely fabulous! Thanks again for everything!!

We had a wonderful week stay in this beautiful condo. It is very large and spacious! The kitchen is a cooks dream! We enjoyed many dinners in this condo! Your condo is the nicest condo we have ever stayed in. It was large enough for two families of four to have all the space we needed. The furnishings and amenities are all top of the line. The extra large kitchen with Viking appliances was fabulous and the ice maker was very useful! We enjoyed both pool areas and the seclusion of the property. We used the grilling area, the workout facility, the movie theater and the virtual golf! The included beach set up was an added bonus that we all really enjoyed. Working with Earlene was a true pleasure -- she was friendly and extremely accommodating, even checking on us while we were there. If you are looking at Sanctuary by the Sea, I can't imagine a nicer unit or renter to work with!

Thank you Bobby and Earlene for providing my daughter, my grand daughter, and myself with such a lovely place to rest, relax, and reflect. Your condo is comfortable, eye appealing, and filled with all the necessary items to make a beach vacation one to remember. The locality is ideal. It is private, with the natural beauty of the wetlands and the sand dunes, as well as the sky blue gulf coast, sugar white sands, and the refreshing pools and lounging areas. The closeness of shopping, dining and fun things to do in the area make this condo well worth the effort to plan your vacation in the blue Mountain Beach area again and again. The owners are friendly, informative, generous with information and extend graciousness and hospitality from the first contact. We would highly recommend this condo and complex and would be more then pleased to be able to visit again! Making memories are to us what vacations are all about and there are plenty to be made here.
